Your statutory rights are not affected Orders Your order must include your name, address and telephone numbers. All orders must be in made through the shopping cart on the website; you will receive a written confirmation from us when we accept your order and both parties have entered into a contract. It is your responsibility to check that all aspects and details of your order are correct and suitable for your requirements. If products are intended for commercial use it is your responsibility to ensure that any legal requirements are satisfied. All prices include VAT at the prevailing rate. All goods are offered subject to availability. If we do not supply the goods we will refund any monies paid. We will not be liable for compensation or damages if we do not supply the goods. Fabrics Fabrics need to comply with the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire Safety) Regulations 1988 if they are to be used for upholstery. Treatment is available at extra cost. Such treatment can affect the finish handle and sometimes the colour of the fabric. FabricBox cannot be held responsible for any results Fabrics may show some shade variation from one batch to another. We cannot accept responsibility for such manufacturing variations. Fabrics are subject to movement due to atmospheric conditions such as temperature and humidity. These factors are beyond our control and we cannot accept responsibility for movement when made up. Making Up Made to measure goods will be made specifically for you in accordance with the information and instructions you have given us. We do not accept responsibility for any inaccurate information given by you. We cannot be held responsible for fabric flaws. We inspect all fabrics prior to cutting and will notify you of any flaws or shade variation we observe. We may await further instructions before proceeding We may, at our discretion, levy a surcharge where fabrics, woven or printed off grain, require extra time to make and where fabrics and patterns behave unexpectedly. We will inform you if we receive fabrics that will not pattern match accurately and may await further instructions. Our curtains are made with some possibility for making adjustments in the event of any movement of the fabrics. Any such adjustments including carriage and handling are not included in the order price. We are not responsible for any shrinkage or other damage caused by cleaning. Defective Goods If you think that there is something wrong with any goods supplied by us you must notify us within seven days of receipt of your order. Please contact us by telephone on 01885 488954 quoting your order number. Any corrections we have to make due to mistakes on our part we will do so as quickly as is practicable and at our cost. We will not be responsible for the charges from another company for corrections. You remain responsible for the original charges. For damage not caused by ourselves we reserve the right to make a minimum charge of £50.00 Delivery Delivery will be deemed to have occurred when the goods have been unloaded at the delivery address. Our carrier, or ourselves will deliver the goods to the address you have given to us. An adult should be available to check the goods arrive in a satisfactory condition. Any defects or damage must be reported on delivery. If nobody is available to receive the goods, we or our carrier may deliver the goods to a neighbouring address. If this is not possible, they may leave a customer contact card and attempt redelivery another time. Any additional charges incurred in delivery may be recovered from you. We are not liable for any loss caused by non delivery of goods. Installation All surfaces to be fitted should be sound, stable, rigid, flat, and completely dry. All areas should be clear of obstructions, appliances, furniture etc. It is assumed that electricity will be available close to the work area. Whilst every effort will be made to control the amount of dust, the areas may require additional cleaning after installation. Installation is charged on a time basis and any indication as to time taken is an estimate. We will always use our best efforts to complete the job on the day but reserve the right to charge if we need to return including, if necessary, the cost of accommodation. Mileage is charged separately. Risk The risk of loss or damage to the goods is ours until the goods are delivered. The goods are yours when they are delivered and paid for. Miscellaneous Completion dates will be given when we are in receipt of a ready order. We cannot guarantee a completion date until all components for a job, including, but not restricted to, fabrics, trims and measurements have been received. We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control. Prices in quotations are valid for 30 days and are in £ sterling. Due to circumstances beyond our control prices may have to be altered up or down to reflect changes in VAT. General These terms and conditions are governed by the application of Scottish Law and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Scotland. | Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart.
